Support Services:

The Care and Support Services area of Student Accommodations and Support Services (SASS) provides assistance and support to students (and the students’ families) in times of challenge, crisis, or emergency. We mentor and advise students regarding life skills and problem-solving, ensuring appropriate referrals are made to facilitate students’ retention and success. Our primary areas of focus include:

– Student wellbeing

– Student crises (such as a death in the family) or experiencing a serious personal incident (such as sexual assault)

– Significant student mental/physical health concerns

– Students struggling to navigate university related processes or challenges
