The Women’s and Gender Education Center\u00a0has been\u00a0part of the Women’s and Gender Studies program at Eastern Washington University since 1977. Today, we engage with students, staff, and faculty across campus through programs, events, and initiatives like the Activist in Residence Program, NEW Leadership, and the Contemporary Issues in Feminist Research series. We also promote gender equity and all forms of diversity through workshops and collaborations with community and university partners.<\/p>\n
In addition to attending our events and programs, you are welcome to visit us<\/a>\u00a0to browse and check out books from our feminist library<\/a>. Each quarter we have a gallery<\/a> opening\u00a0with a deejay and refreshments.
