Search for Jobs

Getting Started

  1. Review EWU’s Student Employment Policies.
  2. Know your employment options.

Work Study is a form of employment that is funded through a financial aid award to students who have requested it on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and who qualify. Work-study positions are primarily available on-campus, along with a small number of off-campus positions. Learn more.

Many jobs available on-campus do not require you have a Work Study award. Student employees must be enrolled at least half-time at the university (undergraduates – 6 credits, graduate students – 5 credits) and are limited to a maximum of 516 hours in any six consecutive months. This averages to 19 hours per week, excluding hours worked on academic breaks.

Off-campus jobs can be found through Handshake and other online job boards. They are not sponsored by or coordinated through EWU. We advise you to use caution and common sense when applying for any position with an organization or private party. View our Job Posting Disclaimer below for more info.

On and off-campus internships can be found through Handshake and other online job boards as well as through networking. Click here to learn more about internships.
