Why are minors separated from majors in the academic programs list?

While majors and minors in the same discipline typically have a great deal of overlap, they require distinct resources. Such resources may include: additional sections offered, processing of major/minor declaration forms, advising time, and transfer and graduation evaluation. Treating them separately is consistent with the Dickeson book and with other universities’ SRA enactment.
