What are quintiles, and how will they be used in the SRA process?

Quintiles are the five categories equating to different levels of future resourcing:

• Quintile 1: Invest (eligible for enhanced resources)
• Quintile 2: Maintain (continue with current resources)
• Quintile 3: Streamline (continue with reduced resources)
• Quintile 4: Transform (to improve effectiveness)
• Quintile 5: Disinvest (candidate for phase-out; subject to additional review by senior leadership)

The task forces are responsible for reviewing template submissions for all academic programs and university services and assigning them to the appropriate quintile based on an overall assessment.
