Please review each location specifically to learn more about the application process, deadlines, and any other specific details.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.180medical.com\/scholarships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">180 Medical College Scholarship Program<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Students attending a two-year, four-year, or graduate school program full time in the fall are eligible to apply. Applicants must be under a physician&#8217;s care for a spinal cord injury, transverse myelitis, spina bifida, neurogenic bladder or ostomy (ileostomy, colostomy, or urostomy).<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.1800wheelchair.com\/scholarship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1800Wheelchair Scholarship<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">A &#8216;visual poem&#8217; on the theme of overcoming personal challenge must be postmarked by May 31st, 2023 in order to be considered for the $500 scholarship. One or two scholarships are awarded annually.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.acb.org\/scholarships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACB Scholarship Program<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">Eligible students are those who are legally blind in both eyes and are enrolled at a post-secondary institution or vocational\/technical school.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/acpacares.org\/college-scholarships\/\">ACPA College Scholarships<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">Eligible students are those who have a diagnosis of cleft lip and\/or cleft palate or other congenital craniofacial difference.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/amvets.org\/scholarships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AMVETS&#8217; Scholarships<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">Scholarships are specific to Veterans, Active Duty, Guard\/Reserves.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.perecman.com\/avonte-oquendo\/autism-scholarship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Avonte Oquendo Memorial Scholarship for Autism<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">This scholarship is open to a students who have been diagnosed with a form of autism, including Asperger Syndrome or applicants may also be a close family member of someone who has been diagnosed with autism.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reintegration.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Baer Reintegration Scholarship<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">Eligible students are those who are currently receiving medical treatment for a documented diagnosis with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or schizoaffective disorder.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/learnmore.scholarsapply.org\/cancer-survivors\/\">Bristol-Myers Squibb Scholarship for Cancer Survivors<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">This scholarship program was created to assist cancer survivors who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school program.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.buckfirelaw.com\/library\/scholarships.cfm#disability\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Buckfire &amp; Buckfire, P.C Disability Scholarship<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">The scholarship is available to students of any age, with any type of disability, including but not limited to physical disabilities, medical conditions, mental or psychiatric conditions, speech and language, learning disabilities, behavioral conditions, and all other conditions.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/sertoma.org\/what-we-do\/scholarships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hard of Hearing or Deaf Scholarship<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">This is a $1,000 scholarship to cover tuition, books and supplies for hard of hearing or deaf students. For more information regarding eligibility please visit the website.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.incight.org\/scholarship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">INCIGHT Scholarship<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">This scholarship if offered to current Oregon or SW Washington residents, who have a documented disability, are actively pursuing a higher education, and are maintaining full-time enrollment.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jedfoundation.org\/student-voice-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JED Student Voice of Mental Health Award<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">JED&#8217;s Student Voice of Mental Health Award is an annual award honoring an undergraduate college student who is raising awareness of mental health issues on campus, reducing prejudice around mental illness, and encouraging help-seeking among their peers.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dyslexicadvantage.org\/dyslexic-advantage-programs\/karina-eide-awards\/\">Karina Eide Memorial College Scholarship<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>The dyslexic Advantage Karina Eide Memorial Scholarship program will award scholarships of $2,500 to sixteen dyslexic students who are currently enrolled in a college, university, or vocational school in the U.S.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mybiosource.com\/page.php?name=scholarship_students_with_disabilities\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MyBioSource Inc. Scholarship: Students with Disabilities<\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">Two Scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded. High School Seniors, Undergraduates, Graduates, as well as international students who have a documented learning disability can apply.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/nfb.org\/programs-services\/scholarships-and-awards\/scholarship-program\">National Federation of the Blind Scholarships<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>The National Federation of the Blind&#8217;s annual scholarship program is the largest of its kind in the nation. Every year, we award more than $250,000 in cash and prizes to blind scholars across the fifty states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico in recognition of their achievements and professional aspirations. There are thirty $8,000 merit-based scholarships. All scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence, community service, and leadership.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.aapd.com\/nbcuniversal-tony-coelho-media-scholarship-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBCUniversal Tony Coelho Media Scholarship<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Eight scholarships will be awarded to students with disabilities who are interested in pursuing a career in the communications, media, or entertainment industry. Each recipient will receive $5,625 to help cover the cost of education\u00a0at their current college or university.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/researchautism.org\/how-we-help\/scholarships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OAR Scholarship<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Students with an established autism diagnosis and pursuing a post-secondary education are eligible to apply.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicservicedegrees.org\/financial-aid\/students-with-disabilities-scholarships-resources\/\"><strong>Scholarships &amp; Resources for Students with Disabilities<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">The Student Training &amp; Education in Public Service (Steps) website has a list of scholarship opportunities and resources for students with disabilities.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sleepfamily.org\/scholarship\/\">Sleep Family Scholarship<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px;font-weight: 400\">The Sleep Family offers an annual scholarship for $1,500 to one student with a disability to help reduce the financial burden of college.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/testprepinsight.com\/scholarship\/\">The Test Prep Insight\u00a0<strong>$1,500<\/strong> Scholarship For Students<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>The Test Prep Insight team offers a scholarship for\u00a0 students with a medically recognized physical or mental disability.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upsfordowns.org\/scholarships\"><strong>Tiffany Diamond Memorial Scholarship<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>One\u00a0<strong>$1000<\/strong>\u00a0scholarship will be awarded to an individual who is\u00a0<strong>pursuing<\/strong>\u00a0a junior college, undergraduate, or graduate\u00a0<strong>degree in a therapeutic field<\/strong>\u00a0(e.g. Occupational, Physical, Speech Recreational, Social Work, Psychology).<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.upsfordowns.org\/scholarships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UPS for DownS &#8211; Katie MacDonald Memorial Scholarship<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>One\u00a0<strong>$1,500<\/strong>\u00a0scholarship will be awarded to an\u00a0<strong>individual with Down syndrome<\/strong>\u00a0who is pursuing educational or job training opportunities beyond high school.<br \/>One\u00a0<strong>$1,500<\/strong>\u00a0scholarship will be awarded to an individual who is\u00a0<strong>pursuing<\/strong>\u00a0a junior college, undergraduate, or graduate\u00a0<strong>degree<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.upsfordowns.org\/scholarships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UPS for DownS Sibling Scholarship<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>One\u00a0<strong>$1,500\u00a0<\/strong>scholarship will be awarded to an individual who is\u00a0<strong>pursuing<\/strong>\u00a0a junior college, undergraduate, or a graduate\u00a0<strong>degree and has a sibling with Down syndrome<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scholarships and Awards These scholarships are hosted by non-EWU agencies, and may have specific requirements for eligibility.
