Reconnect with your EWU community and learn what resources are available this year during the annual Neighborfest from 10 a.m. -2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 24 on the Cheney campus mall.
Please wear a mask and join us at this year’s event to meet more than 160 community partners, on-campus departments and student services, as well as student clubs and organizations. Each of these attending partners and organizations make up EWU’s on-campus and extended community. We are excited for you to meet your neighbors, and pick one to get involved with!
Our attending community partners include: local businesses, faith-based organizations, public services, banks and financial organizations, grocery stores and local non-profit advocacy groups.
Our attending student clubs and organizations include: sorority and fraternity life chapters (IFC, DGC, & Panhellenic), faith-based student clubs, academic interest clubs, the Club Sports Federation, culturally-based organizations and more. We have over 50 on-campus departments and services that will be in attendance at Neighborfest. These departments and service providers are available to support all your needs inside and outside of the classroom.
Some of the special features at this year’s event include: DJ’d music throughout the event, climbing wall, lite snacks, yard games, a live performance from our Diversified Greek Council, and thousands of dollars worth of SWAG for our students.
We will also be giving out awards to our hosting vendors, clubs, and orgs for the best Eagle Pride, Most Informative, Most Engaging, Best Overall (Golden BBQ) and the Student’s Choice.
