Sergeant Nick Bickley of the EWU Campus Police Department was recently recognized as Officer of the Year by the Western Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.
Bickley is the first officer in the EWUPD to receive this honor from WACLEA , a non-profit campus police and security association that operates in the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, British Columbia and Canada.
Bickley was promoted to sergeant in January of this year. In addition to his duties as sergeant, he serves as the agency’s armorer and firearms instructor and coordinates other efforts.
