Become an UndocuALLY
The Multicultural Center is proud to present UndocuALLY workshops in order to advance awareness of the undocumented community, with a particular focus on our EWU undocumented student experience, and enhance the knowledge of our campus community about the needs of undocumented folks both on campus and in our world.
UndocuALLY is a 2-hour workshop, offered periodically throughout each quarter. The goals of UndocuALLY is that participants will be able to:
- Differentiate between DACA, undocumented, and international student statuses
- Name systemic disparities faced by undocumented students in higher education
- Identify resources for undocumented students (both on and off campus)
- Recognized how through my role at EWU I can support undocumented students
UndocuALLY is intended for anyone interested in being a responsible and visible ally for undocumented students (faculty, staff, and students are welcome) on the EWU campus.
Participants who complete the 2 hour workshop earn a placard to display in their campus office, residence hall, or any personal space. Participants will also be invited to add their name, department, and contact information to be displayed in our UndocuALLY Directory on the Multicultural Center website.
