Math Placement Survey

You have not completed enough of your current class to give the survey an accurate indication of your grades overall. You will need to return to the survey when you have completed more than half of this class.

Colleges and universities have different names or content for similar courses, so we'll need to analyze your transcripts. Make sure you have sent your college transcripts to Eastern and then check with your advisor to see which courses may transfer. This form will report a score based only on your high school background, but the math department will follow up with an email if your previous college level coursework increases your score.

You will receive an email shortly with more details about the courses that your test(s) qualify you to take. Please remember that all test scores will be independently reviewed by the university.

Sometimes the course names on international transcripts don't match the course names from transcripts in the United States. The math department will take some time to analyze your transcripts in more detail and will notify you of a placement soon.

We need the most accurate information to complete your math placement. If your transcript does not match your reporting on this form, you may not be placed correctly. This error can cause you to have a canceled schedule and/or miss registration for the correct class.
