Making Course Materials Accessible

Accessible online content means that everyone can interpret content equitably, despite auditory, visual, or other challenges. EWU’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is affirmed by ensuring all students have access to course materials in a manner that levels the playing field. Furthermore, EWU is legally obligated to provide accessible web content. Failure to provide accessible web content puts the university at risk of litigation.
