Frequently Asked Questions
Time worked between the first and the 15th of the month is paid on the 25th of that same month. Time worked between the 16th and the end of the month is paid on the 10th of the following month. If a payday falls on a Saturday, payday will be on the preceding Friday; if a payday falls on Sunday, payday will be on the following Monday.
The work week starts at 12:01 a.m. on Monday and ends on Sunday at midnight.

When a classified employee works overtime and elects to earn compensatory time, the hours worked (rounded up to the nearest ½ hour) are entered by date on the Comp Time Earned 1.5 rate line of the time sheet. Do not multiply the hours worked by 1.5. The multiplication happens during the Payroll processes. Exempt employees do not round up their overtime as it is paid based upon actual time worked.
Jury duty is reported by date on the Civil/Jury Leave line on the time sheet.
