In most classes and across every discipline, small group work can be a high-impact practice when designed, monitored, carried out and graded effectively. This brown bag will present two methods for establishing balanced, permanent groups in quarter-based courses and utilizing them effectively in ways that allow students to learn effectively from each other and be graded for their work accurately.
