Managing Difficult Students 101

This session provides a general overview of the resources, support, and processes of Student Support and Advocacy and Student Rights and Responsibilities.  These teams of highly trained and skilled staff are just two of the campus offices available to partner with you when you are working with a student that may present many challenges in the classroom.  In this session we will discuss: your role, rights, and responsibilities in managing your classroom; possible signs of student distress; and some Do’s and Don’ts.  There will also be time for questions and answers.
