This program is recommended for candidates who hold a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in an area other than education, who are interested in entering the teaching profession.<\/h5>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-container gb-container-c4db8998\">\n\n<h2 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-3995d75c gb-headline-text\">Preadmissions Testing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-b005366a gb-headline-text\">The following must be completed for certification and the majority must be finished before admission to the MIT program:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prior to admission applicants must take the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.west.nesinc.com\/TestView.aspx?f=HTML_FRAG\/WA095_TestPage.html\">WEST-B (Washington Educators Skills Test-Basic)<\/a>&nbsp;or an approved alternative (SAT or ACT).\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If SAT or ACT was taken, based on test date, you may be required to complete one or more sections of the West-B test. Coursework is completed in a designated sequence.
