Campus Cultural Conversations
The Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion hosts a variety of Campus Cultural Conversations to enlighten our community.
First, we welcomed Dr. Keelon Hinton, Professor of Psychology at Marshall University with a panel discussion, The Awakening: An Inclusive Conversation on Culture in Today’s Society. Then, EWU was visited by nine-time Emmy-nominated TV writer/producer Eric Horsted for a panel interview about his life as a writer. Finally, EWU faculty member, Jessica Boyer, and DEI administrator, Kim Davis, led a conversation, Finding Life Balance in the Era of Hustle Culture and Gendered Expectations.
On October 7th, the Office for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and The Office of the Provost hosted a Campus Conversation with ERIC HORSTED, 9-Time Emmy Nominated TV Writer-Producer. Shows Eric Horsted has written for include: ‘black-ish, The Simpsons, Reba, Coach, Home Improvement, Futurama and many more!
