Dashboard Deep Dive
The Campus Workforce Planning dashboards are used to show employee information by various categories for a specific year or multiple years. These dashboards could be used to get information about:
- Identifying trends
- Number of employees per department, unit, or division
- Workforce by staff classification, age, legal sex, veterans status, and others
- Diversity
- Supervisors type reporting

The following dashboards are maintained by Human Resources department and dashboard links here are provided for your convenience.
Campus Workforce
HUMAN RESOURCES DASHBOARD – Multi-Year view of active Faculty and Staff employees at Eastern Washington University. In addition, this dashboard shows active, new, and separated employee as well information by Faculty type (Tenured, Special Faculty, Probationary Faculty, Graduate Assistants, and Adjuncts) in each calendar year.
- Overview – Overview of EWU workforce for each calendar year
- Employee Trends (Year over Year) – Multi-year view of EWU Workforce
- Faculty Employee Trends by Faculty Type – Trend analysis of Tenured, Special Faculty, Probationary Faculty, Graduate Assistants, and Adjuncts faculty members
- New Employee and Separated Employee Trends (Year over Year) – Trend analysis of new hire and separated employees
- Faculty & Staff at a Glance (CENSUS) – Workforce statistics for active benefited classified, exempt, and faculty employees over snapshots of time (Oct 22nd of each year). This dashboard provides information by employee classification, race/ethnicity, age group, legal sex, veterans group, and others.
Specialty
- Employee Leave Current Balance for Supervisors – This report offers a comprehensive listing of all current active employees, detailing their current leave balances. It is specifically designed to present data exclusively for supervisors, focusing solely on the employees who report directly to them.
New! Employee Leave Current Balance (for Financial Officers) ( restricted access: College/Unit Financial Officers only) – This report provides a list of current active employees detailing theirs primary job current leave balances. This report is designed for Unit/College Financial Officers facilitating better management and planning.
New! Comp Time Cash Out – Estimated Cost – Listing of active employees who have comp time balance. This report provides estimated cash out cost based on the calculation as:
- Estimated Cash Out Cost = Ending Balance * hourly rate * 18% (benefits cost) * 1.01149 (pay out factor).
