New Program<\/mark><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

All program information in the EWU Catalog is developed from the Course\/Program Information Management system (CIM\/PIM). CIM\/PIM<\/mark><\/mark> are used to make changes or additions to course or program catalog information.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CPAC and UAC\/GAC follow\u00a0<\/strong>AP Policy 303-35<\/a>\u00a0regarding new programs and program changes.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Preparing a Proposal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All programs are proposed, edited, or banked through Program Inventory Management (PIM). Login is required with an EWU SSO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to inputting a PIM submission, review the information expected for each form field and prepare any additional materials that may be needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Consult the College Finance Officer before submitting a new program proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All new programs must go through the CPAC approval process.<\/p>\n\n\n

Proposing a New Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When proposing a new program, review the CIP Codes<\/a> and Learning Outcomes<\/a> resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click Propose New Program<\/strong>. A New Program Proposal form will open in a new window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Complete all areas where the boxes are outlined in red. Review the Information Bubble<\/strong> located next to the form item for additional information. Review the Create the Program Requirement Course List<\/strong> information on this page to create the curriculum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. A Plan of Study is required for all new programs. Review the Plan of Study<\/a> resource for information and a template. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Attach the completed Plan of Study and any additional supporting documents as companion documents to the proposal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. You have three options for saving changes:\n
