American Red Cross

The purpose of the American Red Cross is to provide support and resources for individuals and families that are struggling. This includes but is not limited to organizing blood donation drives, collecting donations for resources like food, water, clothing and supplies, and working in groups to clean up after natural disasters. The American Red Cross strives to provide everyone with basic human needs.

St. Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul is a non-profit, religious organization that is dedicated to feeding, clothing, housing, and healing families or individuals in need and have no where else to turn to for help. This organization also provides help for people’s physical, mental, and spiritual needs. They not only have thrift stores throughout the country but they have medical and dental care for the “working poor”, services for the homeless, food boxes, and general assistance for those in need.

American Heart Association

This organization’s purpose is to make people aware and to start thinking about heart disease, “America’s No. 1 Killer”. This association raises money to fund research about heart disease and has made large strides over the years to push for a healthier youth through programs such as The Kids Heart Challenge.

World Vision

World Vision

World Vision is a Christian organization committed to helping children in need around the world. They assist in a variety of ways including financial support, as well as giving children and families the tools they need to be successful. There are a multitude of ways for students to get involved and connect to the world around them.
