Peer Health Educators and Health Hut

Our Peer Health Educators (PHEs) are a unique group of students with varying college career paths, different backgrounds, and an interest in the health of EWU students. They provide peer to peer education through small group and large group presentations, tabling events, campus programs, Health Hut, and social media outreach.

Fall 2023 Peer Health Educators

Taylor Skipworth
Olympia, WA

Taylor is a junior originally from Olympia Washington. She is majoring in nursing and hoping to work in the emergency room or ICU after graduating. Taylor enjoys being active; she played basketball, volleyball, and softball all four years of high school. In her free time she likes to go on hikes and spend time with her friends. She has recently joined the ROTC program on campus and is very excited for the opportunities that will come from it. Taylor’s favorite part of working in this office is how friendly everyone is. One of her favorite things about EWU is all of the squirrels all over campus.
