Danielle Bissonnette, MSc
Archaeologist
Miss Bissonnette has two years of experience in Cultural Resource Management including construction monitoring, field survey, site excavation, and the identification and analysis of materials including lithics, and faunal and human skeletal remains. Miss Bissonnette has previous experience volunteering for the Bureau of Indian Affairs Archaeological department in Anchorage, Alaska, and volunteering at the University of Manchester where she conducted skeletal analyses on remains from two Iron Age Burials. She has previously worked in forensic anthropology for the King County, WA Medical Examiner, as a National Park Ranger in North Cascades National Park and as a certified Wilderness First Responder. Miss Bissonnette has presented at international archaeological conferences and authored posters, papers, and technical reports. She draws on her previous experience as an interpretive park ranger to engage in Archaeological outreach within the community. Her archaeological experience at AHS includes construction monitoring, field survey, and laboratory analysis.
