Hold Types and Comments in EagleNET
Here is a list of holds that you can lift via EagleNET and some suggested types of information to include in the comments when you release holds:
<2.0 (Academic Warning/Probation hold): Ideally, comments should indicate that you met with the student and discussed how to be successful for the term (identifying specific resources for the student). Remember, a student on Academic Probation needs to earn a cumulative GPA of a 2.0 or higher for the term or they will be academically dismissed.
>90 credits (major declaration hold): Ideally, comments should indicate that the student has filled out a major declaration and that we are just waiting on the form to process.
<45 credits (freshman hold): Ideally, comments should indicate that you have met with the student, and they have an academic plan for the next term, if not even further.
New/Returning Student: Ideally, comments should indicate that you have met with the student and they have an appropriate plan going forward, especially for returning students where programs have made drastic changes.
