Assigning (Coding) Students to Advisors or Mentors in Banner

Please use the following instructions to assign (code) students to an advisor or mentor: 

It is important to have students “coded” properly in Banner so that students, staff, and faculty (other than the assigned faculty advisor or mentor) know who to connect the student to for advising.

Please check with your program director and/or chair to see how faculty advisors and mentors are assigned in your area and who does the manual process of coding students to advisors or mentors in Banner.
